Overview

ChainPortal allows you to manage your NFTs and tokens across blockchains with a streamlined, easy-to-use interface and very low fees to save money for users and providing value to the Web3 community. You can mint NFTs and tokens on the supported blockchains and bridge them between blockchains in the future. Follow the steps below to understand the process and start creating your assets with confidence.

NFT Minting Process

Step 1: Provide Metadata

Fill in the details about your NFT, such as its name, description, and file (supporting a wide range of file types, from images to 3D objects, videos, audio files, and more). While there are many additional NFT properties you can include, these are the required ones. The metadata will be securely stored on IPFS, ensuring decentralized and tamper-proof storage, staying true to the Web3 decentralized nature.

Step 2: Select Blockchain

Choose the blockchain where you want to mint your NFT. Simply scroll to the desired blockchain or click on it to select it. A blue border around the blockchain card visually indicates that the blockchain is selected. The card contains the estimated total fee for minting your specific NFT on each blockchain, helping you decide which blockchain to use, along with a short description of each blockchain. Currently, the Solana blockchain is integrated, but more blockchains will be added soon.

The minting process will automatically start and will complete shortly. The time required depends on multiple factors, such as the selected blockchain and network conditions, but usually, the process completes in seconds.

For clarity, you will see the real-time progress of the NFT minting, displayed in 3 steps:

  • Validating payment transaction: Validating your payment and ensuring ChainPortal has received the correct amount for your NFT minting.
  • Uploading NFT metadata: The NFT metadata will be uploaded to IPFS, including the NFT media file and other NFT details.
  • Minting NFT on blockchain: The NFT will be minted on the selected blockchain and sent to your wallet.

Once your NFT is minted, confetti will appear, and you can find your new NFT in your wallet.
